A couple of quick updates.

1) Fred is back at school, so I'm getting those miles adding up very quickly.
2) I'm all of 6 years old now, as of 10-15 (not bad for having 123,500 miles)
3) I ran over a deer about a week and a half ago, with only a couple of bruises.
4) I'm going to the doctor on Thursday for some hopefully minor preventative stuff. Fred will pick me up again on Friday, after I've had some time to recover. And it has nothing to do with the deer I ran over.
5) I've been hanging out with this hot little ZX2 named Rosie ;)

For all that is good in this world!! Fred nearly got me killed today. He was driving around trying to decide where to get lunch when the guy in front of him crossed through an intersection and jumped on the brakes. Fred swerved us around to miss the guy in front of us, but almost took out this Audi that was perfectly sitting in the blind spot (which was made minimal with proper alignment of the side mirrors). So we're going along about 40 mph (10 over posted), not using turn signals, trying to make a two lane road into a three lane road. I don't know how many laws were broken in that short time, but I feel lucky just to be able to go down the road after that close call. I don't think there was more than a foot of space around me to avoid hitting other cars.

Side note: M, you might like the music choice here. Fred was playing this when he nearly killed me.
